How This Wiki Approaches Leagues and Season Numbers[edit | edit source]

While competition seasons all bear their own season number (where known), an overall governing sense of alignment is required to enable comparison and cross-referencing between these leagues.

For this reason, the Season numbers applicable to Pro League are commonly utilised along with that of the league in focus, to offer a way to place where that season was positioned across the entire history of SVS league play.

For example, a team participating in AML Season 5 (played concurrently with Pro Season 9), and then winning promotion to Pro League subsequently, would then compete in Season 10. In team histories, these two appearances would be referred to as Seasons 9 and 10. The AML Season number would of course also be stated.

Aligning Seasons With Years[edit | edit source]

Over time a lack of data has left the exact timing of some competitions a little uncertain. A 'best effort' at placing these timestamps has been concocted, and that information is represented in the table below.

Note:This document has been well and truly superseded by new tables, yet to be uploaded.
